NPCA Tech Director, David Lyons (many of you may know him as Sugar Bear), has supported the NPCA since its birth in late 2005. His knowledge and credibility is not only a huge asset to the NPCA, he also recently purchased a large asset for the NPCA – a brand new trailer. The new trailer will be used to haul NPCA merchandise, and serve as the new NPCA event registration area. With the handy pop-up window on the side and back, racers and fans will be able to conveniently walk up to the trailer to register, shop, and mingle. |

The trailer was broken in Saturday, May 3 at the NPCA Spring Warm-Up test session in Muncie, IN; however, spring weather was nowhere to be found as the NPCA crew tried to stay warm inside the new trailer. Thanks to Sugar Bear’s new investment, the crew stayed wind-burnt free! |

Will the trailer always be white? No. It will eventually be adorned with a large NPCA logo of some kind, as well as NPCA series sponsor logos. Welcome to the 2008 NPCA racing season! This will be our third year since establishing in 2006 and it looks to be the best yet. As many of you probably know, we have partnered with the Goodguys Rod and Custom Association for three races in 2008! The first being Goodguys 20th Annual Hot Rod Nationals at O’Reilly Raceway Park at Indianapolis June 6-8. The next Goodguys/NPCA event takes place in Norwalk, OH for The Blue Suede Cruise at Bill Bader’s Summit Motorsports Park September 5-7. The NPCA Finals will be held in conjunction with the Inaugural Goodguys Nostalgia Nationals at the historic Beech Bend Park in Bowling Green, KY October 17-19. These three events will be “Points Meets” for the NPCA in a four race championship series. The fourth points meet will be held at Kansas City International Raceway in Kansas City, MO October 3-5 at the 2nd Annual Muscle Car Reunion & Nostalgia Drags, site of last years NPCA U.S. Finals.
